   " 「イスラエルにはユダヤ人しか住んでいない」と思っている人もいるかもしれませんが、実は、イスラム教徒でアラブ人、という住民もいます。アラブイスラエリとか、パレスティニアンと呼ばれる人たちです。しかし、イスラエルは四国ほどの面積しかない小さな国。この狭い土地に、並存することが難しい価値基準を持つ２つの集団が住んでいれば、どうなるか…。
   
   最近、エルサレムに住むパレスティニアンの男性が、ユダヤ人の女性とデートして、合意の上でセックスをしたにもかかわらず、「これはレイプであった」として、有罪判決を受けた、という事件がありました。
   
   合意だったのになぜ？　と思いますよね。実は、このユダヤ人女性、後になって自分がセックスした相手がパレスティニアンだったことに（なぜか）気づき、「ユダヤ人である」と偽って自分を誘惑した彼に対して怒り心頭、レイプの罪で告訴したのです。
   
   裁判官は、これが「レイプの典型ではない」と認めつつも、「裁判所は言葉巧みに甘い言葉を使う悪賢い犯罪者から一般市民を守らなければならない」として、この哀れなパレスティニアンは詐欺によるレイプの罪で１８カ月の禁固刑を言い渡されてしまったのでした。
   
   これを、日本とは遠くの国で起きている人種差別、と思う人も多いでしょう。
   
   でも、日本人も、別の意味で、差別されているとも言えるんですよ。例えば、パリでもニューヨークでも「日本人の女子留学生は、すぐにセックスをさせてくれる」という通念があって、特にアラブ系の人に大人気（泣）。現地の日本人駐在員にすら、セックス要員として見られていたりします。
   
   これが大変困るわけです。現地の男性とセックスなんて別にしたくない日本女性は、世界各地でセクシャルハラスメントにあうことになるわけです。「日本女性は、しつこくすればセックスできる。やったらお金を貢いでくれる。レイプしても事件にならない」というのが一部では常識になっているともいいます。
   
   イスラエル女性並みにとは言いませんが、日本女性も、もう少し男を選んだほうがいいんじゃないかな。世界各地でセックス要員として見られているって、やっぱり、一種の人種差別だと思いますし。"
